Projects co-financed by the European Union must be overseen by the external independent auditor, who verifies the project’s accounting and monitors stipulated procedures. The recipient of the grant must choose an external auditor, certified by the Centre for Regional Development CR, to carry out the audit.
Our auditors attend a five-day intensive course specifically designed to introduce them to the particular auditing procedures for projects co-financed by the European Union. On the basis of successfully passing a final test scored by EU appointees, our candidates gain certification from the Centre for Regional Development CR as auditors qualified to work on projects co-financed by EU.
